When it comes to their logo design, real estate agents and agencies are varied in their tastes and design expectations. Some want a highly detailed logo to represent their real estate agency. Others want more abstract or iconic. Real estate brokers tend to favor logo designs that are more ego-driven - announcing their own personality to the world. However, real estate agent or agency design projects generally begin with the same brief - to create a logo that represent trustworthiness, professionalism and sales savvy through a unique brand that will also carve out a niche in a very cluttered market place. Technical requirements are generally similar - the logo has to reproduce effectively in traditional venues (letterheads, brochures and business cards) as well as on lawn signs featuring the real estate agent's logo, number and the sales status of the property. Generally speaking, real estate logos tend to lean towards the conservative side, but with increasing competition, and shrinking market, many agents and brokers are becoming increasingly open to new ideas and concepts.

| Bela Flor Builders. Simple text & icon logo for a California based home builder. Logos for real estate related companies need to be adaptable for a wide range of uses. Simplicity is sometimes the key. |
Douglas Home Improvements. The client for this project wanted to depict everything that had to do with their industry - blueprints, tools and houses. Despite this, our designers managed to create a logo that doesn't look cluttered. Bold, strong font helps. |
Mortgage Docs. Design for an US wide network of notary publics available for assistance on real estate purchases and loans. Traditionally conservative institutions such as banks and real estate brokers generally choose an iconic approach. |

| North Coast Reality Group. Companies involved in the real estate industry often choose similar motifs to their corporate identity. Once such popular motif is that of a lighthouse, like this work up for North Coast Realty Group, meant to represent a guiding light. |
Own A Home Realty. Whimsical, almost cartoon like treatment, makes this design stand out. Bright colours and bold typography complete the 'look'. As this logo was intended primarily for use on a web site, our designers were able to add a little more 'personality'. |
Portfolio Agents. This logo, despite being visually simple, is technically quite complex. Rather than relying on Photoshop filters to achieve the chrome effect, we created this design using gradient fills in Illustrator. Part of a logo repair project for a real estate broker service. |

| Priority One Realty. This simple text logo illustrates the concept of 'simple is better'. Spot colour treatment insures that the mark can be used in all the typical real estate avenues - business cards, letterheads, brochures and yard signs. |
Seacliff Builders. Graphic treatment of a Nautilus shell complete with an elegant serif font. This design is two colour, and technically very simple. One of the planned uses was vinyl signs, so the design was developed in a way that the vector lines didn't intersect, |
Florida Swamp Land. Yes, there is Florida Swamp Land. And yes, there is a real estate company that sells it. SImple text treatment also features some graphic flourishes as accents, illustrating that text driven designs don't have to be boring. |

EAG Appraisal Group. While iconic and illustrative treatments can be visually impressive, sometimes a brutally simple text logo will capture the essence of a conservative company. View this real estate design in action in our presentation folder section. |
Brampton Premier Homes Real Estate. This magazine masthead logo for a Brampton real estate publication is well over a decade old, but still holds up today. In order to remain timeless, a well designed corporate identity avoids cliches, fads and trends. |

| Wolverine Custom Homes. Regal treatment worked into the corporate identity for this Calgary, Alberta based custom luxury home builder is verging on 'coat of arms' territory, and evokes a sense of quality - the main thrust of the client's design brief. See the real estate stationery design portion of this project. |
Metropolis Risk Management Advisors. Iconic logo for residential and real estate insurance specialists based in New York. Incorporating a city skyline into the company's main initial, this example shows how even the simplest design can still be visually engaging. |
Red Door Reality. Simple text & icon treatment for this Halifax, Nova Scotia based reality company. While we tried to stay away from the obvious - a red door - after numerous design attempts we settled on a door worked into an exclamation mark. |
