Client: Natural Earth Organic Energy Drinks
Project: Logo and package design (label artwork).

Like most of our graphic design and branding artwork projects, this one for a USA based energy drink manufacturer began with their logo design development, and involved various stages of concepts and revisions (above). Once the logo was finalized our designers were tasked with developing the energy drink labels and creating the 'look and feel' for the entire product line. Rather than using photography, the client opted to utilize illustration throughout.

Designing packages, especially food product labels isn't something to be taken lightly, nor is it a matter of 'slapping' some artwork and text on a sheet of glossy paper. There are fairly strict government regulations as to what you can, and can't say, as welll as some technical restrictions including the type, size and placement of copy. This has to be factored into a label that is visually appealing when placed on a store shelf, or drink fridge. The package design project for Natural Earth consisted of 5 product labels and the catalogue for the drinks. We also designed a brochure which can be viewed in our brochure design portfolio.
