Automotive logos
Main logo: Badland Buggy
Project: Illustrative automotive logo design for ATV manufacturer.
More: Automotive logo gallery

This logo (main) required an extremely detailed and realistic rendering of an actual Badland buggy. The illustration was completed first, then a complimentary font style was selected. This logo requires full colour reproduction, so an alternative grayscale version was developed for instances where four colour process was not available. This design was developed predominantly for web usage. Note: An illustrative logo of this complexity would require a minimum of a Professional Logo Design Package.

Automotive logos - Green CarCar logos

Over the years, The Logo Factory has created a myriad of automotive themed logos. There Automotive logos - A3 Car Clubis no fast-and-true rule for this category of logo - every application has its unique parameters. Depending on the market, and theme, of the company involved, logos for automotive companies can range from cartoon (see Green Car at left) to corporate and conservative (see examples below). The automotive industry encompasses a wide range of businesses - from car dealerships, to automotive parts and accessories - and it seems that we've developed logos for every imaginable variation. Of particular importance when developing an automotive logo is the planned usage and the restraints sometimes involved. If a logo is to be used in vinyl signs (particularly true in vehicle branding) the logo has to be simple and linear. If the logo's primary use is in traditional advertising, our designers have a wider latitude

Several of the logos featured in our automotive gallery are highly illustrative in nature, but still created with the limitations of their usage in mind. The Badland Buggy example (main) is a classic example of an illustrative logo. The rendering of the vehicle is almost technical in nature and required a lengthy development phase using photographs (supplied by the client) for reference. Other logos featured in this gallery are much more simple in design, and are accordingly more adaptable for a wider range of usage.
