Here's a step-by-step look at how you can work with The Logo Factory studio - either face-to-face (by appointment only) or remotely via e-mail and our client only Factory Floor.
Step 1
Explore our web site for ideas, tips and pointers
Explore our web site, especially our logo design examples. Once you have decided to utilize TLF for the creation of your new logo, we've made it simple to submit your project. You can use our online submission forms to send us details and initial payment. For assistance, you can speak live with our client support department toll free or send us a Fax Order Form. We think you'll see why we're not just another design company.
Step 2
Select the service suited for your project
Select the logo design package that’s best suited for your particular requirements. We offer various design bundles, set up to provide you with a variety of options, turnaround and file format support. Once you've decided which bundle is perfect for your project, you can then submit your project online. You can read our logo design action list for some handy pre-project pointers. See our anatomy of a logo design project for the back story of The Bean logo (below).

Step 3
Login to our Factory Floor
Once your preliminary designs are ready (in 1, 3 or 7 days depending on the logo package you selected), log on to our Factory Floor, a client only 'work in progress' area to view the new material. From that point you can work with your personal designer, revising and editing designs throughout the creative process. During the design process, you'll be presented with different designs and concepts (view Exxon Mobil design anatomy here).

Step 4
Take receipt of your new logo
After you have completed the design rounds of Step 3, you will be the proud owner of your brand new logo. You'll be anxious to start using your new design right away, so at this point you can finalize your project (through our secure payment forms) and your designer will begin prepping all the file formats that are included in the package you have selected. You'll receive editable print files (EPS), web files (GIF, JPG). See here for the Toronto Exotics design process page.

Step 5
Add-ons and include artwork - stationery design, etc.
Once you have finalized any add-on and extra design material, your designer will set up everything in the various industry standard formats and print impositions (stationery) you'll need. We'll assemble your logo files in logically organized folders so that even if you're completely new to the logo design process, you'll be able to manage your new identity efficiently. At this point you can download ALL your new logo files with a simple mouse click. We'll also send your new logo CD, complete with your files, technical guides, usage guides, free goodies and copyright transfer paperwork. See here for the Olde Mill Cabinet Company design process and the stationery design portion of a project.

Step 6
And then...
At this point you should be completely comfortable with how The Logo Factory works. You'll be familiar with the designer who created your new logo, and more importantly, they're familiar with your company and your business philosophy. So, why would you hand off your new logo to a complete stranger, hoping they'll be able to create complimentary add-on design material? The Logo Factory offers a wide range of graphic design services - brochures, presentation folders, and flash animation - to name a few and all with the dynamic design principles and process you've come to expect from TLF. To view how we utilize logos in brochures, see the Pick A Pizza design process page.

Web Design
We approach your web design in the same manner as we would tackle your logo design – the analysis of the direction you wish to take, the message you are trying to deliver, and the audience you are trying to appeal to. To this end, we look at the design ingredients that could go into any web design project, and how they apply to your unique corporate identity. Through our distinct design phases we then create a custom Web Site Shell tailored to your specific plans. See here for Papa's Sports Bar design process.

Flash Animation
Now that you have your new logo, it's time to make it move! You'll want a dynamic Flash animation of your new logo that can be featured on web sites, multimedia presentations and screensavers. The Logo Factory has made animation of logos an art form, and we're constantly striving to move the bar when it comes to Flash and it's application to logo design. And like any other TLF service, you can submit, edit and download your Flash movies from our Factory Floor, all without ever leaving your desk. Of course, if you're local, you can always visit our Mississauga design studio location and discuss your design needs in person.
